Product Industrialization Engineer

Purpose of the role

  • Organizing the technological activity of production, implementation and tracking throughout the life cycle of the products for which the respective team is responsible. Responsible for determining the sequence of operations for the entire manufacturing process and its documentation, for line balancing, assisting with engineering change control and end-of-life activities for products.

Main Responsibilities

  • Participation in the implementation of new products and processes in production;
    Determines the sequence of the entire production process for a given product, creates work instructions for operators, sets the characteristics of the process and its validation;
    Determines the tools and fixtures that will be used during the technological process, defining equipment requirements and technical specifications;
    Ensures the availability of equipment and other tools, including the validation of project-specific tools and equipment;
    Conducts operator training for specific processes;
    Participation in the optimization of production processes (Lean Manufacturing);
    Tracks the times of the operations assigned to the production of the product
    Controls subsequent technical/engineering changes to the product to ensure they are adequately managed, tracked, recorded and implemented.
    Leads and controls the sample production process;
    Performs the preparation for the first day of production of the product at full capacity and provides a checklist for the audit of the production process;
    Makes contact with a wide range of specialists in the company - quality engineers, process engineers, maintenance engineers, failure analysis specialists, metrology specialists, purchasing and customer relations specialists, component quality assurance specialists, shift supervisor, operators;
    Work in a production environment and spend more than 60% of working time on module assembly lines to track processes and potential issues;
    Active participation in the analysis of defective modules from the production cycle of the products for which he is responsible.

Minimum Qualification

  • Higher technical education - preferably in the field of electronics, mechanical or industrial engineering;
    Good command of the English language (written and spoken) - work with technical documentation and correspondence with counterparties;
    Computer skills - MS office (Excel, Power Point, Word) - mandatory;
    Experience and knowledge of technological processes related to the assembly of electronic modules and of quality standards is considered a serious advantage;
    Experience in the automotive industry - 1-2 years is an advantage;
    Hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment in a similar position is recommended;
    Ability to work in a dynamic environment;
    Motivated, shows initiative and analytical thinking;
    Able to work independently and prioritize tasks;
    Ability to work in team;
    Willingness to travel daily to Botevgrad, where the company's production facilities are located.
