Optics Engineer

Main Responsibilities

To be responsible for innovation, capability and competency development in the area of optics, camera and vision test systems and AOI

To perform architecture design, checking, reviewing and recommending approval for identified activities and decisions of the department related to optical tests, camera and vision test systems and AOI

To be in-charge of ensuring that project requirements are met and concerns are addressed accordingly

To certify compliance of testers to appropriate standards including safety

To define projects and plans to align IMI capabilities to support new and emerging technologies

Drives competency development activities for vision and optical tests topics

Provides inputs in the performance reviews and development plans of Engineers and other support members of projects led

Minimum Qualifications

Graduate of Applied Physics Related Master’s Degree, Doctorate Degree or professional qualification an advantage

At least seven years of work experience in optics and vision systems and applications
